New Years Resolutions: Yes I have been mentally occupied alllllllllll day. Practically all week so I am indeed, just now, 14 minutes before New Years, creating my New Years Resolution. And you know what, I could really compile a long list of things. But you know what. In church my Pastor said, if you want to make God laugh, tell him about you plans! Well my only plans are going to be let God lead my life.

2 days can equal the weekend
i don't really feel like writing a blog, but i guess i feel as though a sequence of events, events that are not really even all that significant - at least in part because they are not related to me, but because they happen and they happen all around me. Friend find out information that send them on emotional rollercoasters and they cry. They cry and share this information with me -- and okay, it's really not that detrimental, except for the fact that it is to them and that makes it so. I'm usually really good at listening, but sometimes i'm not sure how good i am at comforting.
I'm still at a happy place. No in a happy place. It would be nice to share that.
Come to think of it, it would also be nice to sleep eight now.

Happy Place
Since school started a series of events progressed... a series of events that were new in my life. I came to a happy place in my life. I still am in this happy place although a certain chapter has closed. Life is sooo funny. This time last year I was a mess. Homesick on family weekend. This year will be my longest time spent away from home and family. The end of July all the way to Christmas. Its something wondering whats going on at home. Wondering what I can do about things going on there. Even being happy, thinking about whos not. Sometimes getting so carried away in thought fearing the day my happiness dimishes. What if it come to and end? What if I somehow get back to those days were a breakdown was something regular. Where tears, ceratinly no starngers to me, tears lived with me coming and going as they pleased. I'd like to declare that those days are gone. That hurt has ceased. I'm happy and content but not complacent. I'm ever striving, ever living, seeking.
You know, I'm so glad that my parents named me Ijeamak. My name means the journey is blessed, or God's blessing. I feel that everytime someone calls my name I'm being blessed. I think that I'm in one of the happy parts of my journey. You know longsuffering is a fruit of the spirt, and something I've experienced well. I thank God for that. It has made me stronger, patient. He has let me know that I can deal with things. I can be a strong person. One day I may have to be that for my family or my friends. He has prepared me.
Joy is also a fruit of the spirit. And I'm so thankful for the joy that I feel everyday.

When life gives you lemons...
... make lemonade
When life gives you lemons, twist some of the peel into a martini.
When life gives you lemons, make grape juice. Then sit back and watch the world try to figure out how you did it.

I need to know, because I HATE them.

Their policies are flippin railway robbery. They could care less about students and student checking. They see no problem with chalking on fee upon fee. If it were not for one manager
"with a daughter my age" I doubt anyone else there would have shown mercy. When I went into the actual bank, the manager was an asshole and the associate a dueshbag grrr. Usualyy you would threaten to close your account in this type of situation, but when I asked about closing my account the associate did it in a snap before I coculd even answer questions. I was PISSED then i waited for an HOUR to talk to the manager again just so I could tell him i was PISSED
"you know, I may not have that much money now, but I'm a student at [insert Ivy League University HERE] and in the future I most definitely will NOT be using this bank."
after I finally got the chance to say my peace I left. Ughhhhh
